EDUCATION
- For my undergraduate education, I attended Kansas State University and graduated in Spring 2023, with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While at Kansas State, I provided psycho-education and suicide prevention training for students and staff. In addition, I received training to become a registered behavior technician (RBT), and I provided behavioral therapy to children with autism and ADHD.
Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in counseling psychology at the University of Kansas, and I anticipate graduating this May to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Through my graduate training, I have gained experience implementing goal-focused positive psychotherapy with adult clients experiencing a diverse range of mental health challenges. I have also continued to expand my clinical experiences by using my RBT certification to provide in-home behavioral therapy for young children and training for their parents. This has given me the opportunity to expand my multicultural awareness by collaborating with families from a variety of different cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
