ABOUT ME

  • "Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen." - Brené Brown

Let's begin your pathway to healing. You are welcome here, right where you are. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As a therapist, I seek to create a warm, safe space for your growth + empowerment. I have worked in partnership alongside a diverse range of clientele on their mental health journeys, using evidence-based treatment and focusing on anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression and trauma among other areas.

I see counseling as a trusted partnership, and utilize a trauma-informed, multiculturally competent Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach with a focus on your personal values systems and the power of self-compassion. We could all use a little grace as we venture on our mental health journey, and often don't treat ourselves with the same compassion we gift to others. Together, I hope to help you realize your own strength and empower you in your recovery.
