ABOUT ME

Since beginning my work as a therapist in 1998, I have enjoyed working with a wide range of mental health struggles and life challenges. The foundation of my work is compassion, the therapy relationship, and the development of a unique plan that meets your needs. I consider it an honor to share in each client's unique life experiences, and to assist them in finding new strategies, inner wisdom and compassion, and a valued life direction. I love ongoing learning in my profession and bringing new knowledge and wisdom to the therapy relationship. I also am one of the founding therapists of the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program.

MY TREATMENT APPROACH

I build all of my practice on a foundation of a strong understanding of your life experience and needs. I partner with you in a journey of compassion, bringing my knowledge and experience to assist you in healing. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR are two of my main treatment approaches. ACT is a newer treatment modality with evidence for strong and lasting change, which I have seen in my practice. I have been teaching ACT since 2016. ACT creates change and growth through its rich combination of concrete strategies with a creative and liberating shift in how we view and respond to suffering.
