Anxiety

Anxiety.
Tight chest,
Racing thoughts,
Feeling things will not get better.

Running.

Checking text.
Replying to email.
Tending to kids.
Getting homework done.
Trying to figure out what life is about.

Running.

Off to bed.
Can’t sleep.
Breathe.
When did breathing become so much of a struggle?
Could I get by with less sleep to get more done?

Isolate.
Shut down.
Done.
Desperate.

Running.

Running from what?
From self?
From facing what is?

What if there was something more to run to?
What if there was the ability to just stand, be?
What if there were tools you could learn in a safe, cozy, homey environment so you could once again truly live?

There is.
You do not have to live as you are.
You are NOT alone.
